Like a little kid trying to stay up and see if she can catch a glimpse of Santa Clause, I have been waiting for this day for months. This will be the closes thing to a national primary in my lifetime. 24 states. Wow. While the Democratic nomination will not be cinched due to proportional delegate allocation, the Republican's winner-take-all process may seal the deal. Either way, it looks like my primary/caucus which isn't until March might actually matter on the Democratic side. Tami, from What Tami Said sent me this great link about following all of the states and when you can expect their election returns and what the returns mean.
There is a lot going on in the Black Blogosphere. I am calling it the Black Blogtacular. So many people are doing podcasts and live blogs. If I don't list you below, go ahead and put the time and location of your Super Tuesday online event in the comments section.
Be sure to join us for our 2-hour Super Tuesday podcast beginning at 8:30CST. Since we have so many moving parts to cover tonight, I've asked an outstanding journalist, AM McReynolds from the blog, Backyard Beacon, to join us to keep us up to date on the returns as well as offer some unique stories from OUR prospective. make sure you check out Ann's blog. She's a journalist, not a rabble rouser so we should make an interesting pairing.
