I want to encourage all of you to start being creative. It doesn't just have to be a book or poetry or a song. IT does not have to be a blog. I mean if it is stick figures or macaroni art. I don't care. Those who wish to exploit and degrade Black women have no compunction about using "art" to push their message of misogyny. It is great to critiques and criticize, but the real battle is taking place in the hearts and minds of African American women, men and children. We're not going to win that war with a lecture. Every little bit helps. Just do something. Draw a stick figure today!
