The jury is back in the Isiah Thomas case... Um they awarded like 11.6 MILLION in stupid taxes.
The jury, in federal district court in Manhattan, also ruled that the former executive, Anucha Browne Sanders, is entitled to $11.6 million in punitive damages from the Garden and James L. Dolan, the chairman of Cablevision, the parent company of the Garden and the Knicks.
Ouch. Now can somebody tell me WHY he didn't settle with this woman? His reputation and that of the Knicks and the Garden got hammered AND so did Mr. Steffon "Starbury" Maurbury in the process(the NY Times initial reported that Marbury had "relations" with an intern in his trunk. They later corrected the story to say in his truck as if that made it better)... Oh yeah, Isiah didn't settle because he is stupid.
